Earth to nostradomis, look who the Braves have played as of yet... some real tough competition. They probably wont get past Springville and if they do Bonneville and Mtn. View will get the best of you.

Check it out...Bt/Viewmont 2-1, Bt-Jordan 3-3, Bt-Brighton 1-1, Bt/Skyline 2-0, neither Springville or Mt View have won a game outside of a very weak soccer Utah county. Earth to ummmm, check your stats before you make a fool of yourself.

Just how many wins do these teams need to rack up before they can be considered non-weak? Springville - number 1 ranking for 2 weeks and a 16-2 record including playoffs Mt.View - 12-3-3 with the lowest goals against stat in the state. Timpview and Orem both close behind Mt. View with both coming very close or actually defeating both the top ranked teams. Almost all games came down to the wire, not because of poor offense but due to stellar defense, especially by the Red Devils and Bruins. Defense, not offense is the reason games are won. Ask Pine View, C-Wood, Sky View, and Woods Cross about that. I don't know what you think constitutes a weak region, but Region 7 just can't be called that by anyone educated.

It will Bountiful and Bonneville in the Final. Region 7 week? No they are not week but they ARE NOT up to par with region 5. Week are region 6 and 9. Bountiful prevails this time vs Bonneville. They are playing there best soccer of the year these past two weeks. That is my prediction.

This article is accurate to what it states but it does leave a lot out like that the insurance goal was a gift from the ref which resulted from a clean ball-first slide tackle that the ref called as a foul from 50 yards away. It also ignores the fact that Mt. Crest had the better play in the second half and out shot the Braves 12 to 4. The goal that was called back was put into the net by the hand of the Bountiful player which is why it was called back and why it went in. Bountiful did win the first half very handedly but Mt. Crest outplayed Bountiful in the second half. Bountiful will win it all this year.

you are right i am a bonneville fan but when it comes down to who will make it into the finals i think bonneville will be there. if anyone was at that 4a state title game last year they know how horrible the officiating was. they basically handed bountiful the game. When bonneville makes it to the finals this year they won't let the officiating affect their play and they will take what was rightfully theirs.

The only thing people dislike worse that a sore loser, is a sore loser who blames their loss on the officials. Give some credit to the Bountiful Braves they played a great game last year and soundly beat bonneville by 2 goals.

To the asian: your team lost last year get over it. You guys have a very tough semi-final opponent in Mt View, I think they are the best team to come out of region 7, and that also means Utah county as a whole. Bountiful will have their handsful w a Springville team that is pretty used to winning, region 5 is the best region in 4A and maybe all of HS soccer. I think Bountiful and bonneville will play in the finals again, and I really hope that all the lakers behave if they lose. I know that the Bountiful players, fans and coaches will if they lose, they are a class organization...

It's not the end, thursday about 6PM at WX HS when Bountiful is again holding up the championship trophy, then the season will be over. Even that's not the end....

Don't worry about the lakers if they make it to the finals. their behavoir will be great especially when they are holding the state trophy in their hands. the lakers aren't looking over the bruins they definitely have a talented squad, and any player knows that in highschool soccer heart and hustle sometimes out beats talent. so if anything the lakers are going go take this tournament one game at a time. so good luck to the other side of the bracket i'm anxious to see who wins between the BT. and SV. i'm guessing bountiful wins off a throw in goal and its a rematch of last years state 4a title.

i think its funny how every one bashes on springville for being in a weak region... find a region that is better Springville and Mt. View are the two best teams in state and are likely going to be playing in the finals.. of course springville will win but either way its going to be a region 7 showdown
