Bonneville is definitely the best team in state. They might not have the most individual stars, but as a whole, they are the most solid team. I played in that quarterfinal game for east and i have to admit that we had no chance after that first goal. Their midfield ran us into the the ground. Also, bonneville was one of the most respectable teams I have ever played against. I didn't hear one of their players ever say anything messed up to one of ours. It was just a physical game that's all. I'm definitely putting my money on them for the championship.

bonneville is the region 5 champion thereby the favorite coming into the state tourney, just as the Bountiful Braves were region 5 champions last year and ultimately the state champions in 2007. Although Mt View took 2nd in 5A last year to a pretty good Jordan team and the best team in Utah county this year and the slackers shouldn't look past them in hopes of a rematch w Bountiful in the finals. bonneville's biggest problem is their behavior they are already on probation, and if they act at WX this year like they did at JD last year most likely soccer will be dropped from their school.
