It would be wonderful if Greg Skords would take a break from his successful private practice and run for the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office position. I noted that L. Miller has a fundraising golf match scheduled for the first of June -- her re-election would be tragic for Salt Lake County. Greg is an exceptional attorney who has so much broad experience in his recent years of private practice, both the civil end as well as, of course, the criminal prosecution side. I think his election to office would be a relief to most of the existing employees, and would bring credibility back to the office.

I remember when David Yocom accepted a salary of $1 to take over the last year of Ted Cannon disastrous administration. I’ve admired Greg in the legal arena from afar for over two decades. It would be good to see someone with legal depth and substantial experience take over the office after Miller’s disastrous first years.
