How sad for the family. One child is good and chooses BYU and the other child goes toward the devil at the u.

...Ignorant people who hate baseball. I bet you eat your food raw.

I coached Tyler in Little League Football (ALTA) and he's truly a talented athlete - not to mention a great kid.

Best of luck to you Tyler!!!

You don't have to be ignorant to hate baseball, you just have to realize some people are bored out of their minds with someone is throwing a ball, and only now and then having someone hit it and not having anything exciting happen.

There is a reason football and bball have surpassed baseball in this county. I bet few on here could even name that last 5 NCAA baseball champions.

Here's a hint Ute fans. Kevin is just trying to get you going. The best thing you can do is ignore his comments. Don't freak out and start writing how the president of the U is LDS. Just ignore him.

There's NBA/ghetto kind of people and there's Mom's apple pie and baseball kind of people. That's okay. It takes all kinds.

Mr. Roper,

I hope you're not throwing out rumors. The article mentioned that Tyler will go on a mission. I don't think there are any "moral issues" if he is going on a mission. He mentioned that his coach didn't want to lose him to BYU after a mission. As far as I can tell, this is a good young man who is living honorably.

Great to see the Relf boys doing well in baseball. Peter was suppose to look me up during spring training in Arizona. Give me a call or email me and I will do my best to get them down here at ASU. Bruce Rasmussen rasmv2@juno.com

Your Dad's favorite sister, and a big admirer of yours, e-mailed the story to us.

Certainly congrats on your great sports efforts and accomplishments.

Nevertheless, I'm even more impressed with your mission choice(s), in light of your successes.

Maintain the proper choices in life, in the right sequence...and the rest will come together as it ought to. Continued best to you both.
