According to Steven Yorgason's opinion piece in today's DMN... We should ignore this information and do NOTHING about it until they actually strike the US.

Of course we try negotiations, but have they worked so far? Should we bet our future that they will work in the future? Should we just tell Iran they can do whatever they want to escalate this arms race as long as they don't attack the US?

Probably not. Yet any action taken by the US or the international community to prevent this situation from becoming the Nuclear arms race they predict would be considered to be another "Preventive war" by Yorgason and others and condemned.

I hope all the "No preventive war" whiners (Obama included) are happy when they see the eventual result of our vow of inaction in the face of obvious threats.

Sometimes even the mear threat of action is enough to keep bad things from actually happening. What do we do when everyone in the world KNOWS we don't have the guts to do anything about it (because our President has promised the world we will do nothing on his watch)?
