Overall I liked the movie. The McGuffin they used was, well, I don't know, eh. I mean with Raiders, historically the Nazis were looking for that kind of stuff, and if you believe in the Bible, then you believe there was an Ark of the Covenant, so in spite of all the high flying action, over the top stunts and amazing coincidences, it was plausible.
Now it's asking for a totally different kind of suspension of disbelief. I don't know, it just didn't fit Indy well.
However, I loved Mutt, Marion's return was most welcome (as were the interactions between her and Indy) and it was just fun to see an older, grumpier Indy kicking butt.

It was well worth seeing, but nothing will ever top Raiders as far as an action movie in my opinion.
