Great Tournament Tooele, you have a great group of girls and coaches and you showed nothing but class all season.... Congrats!!

Great job Lady Buffaloes!! You showed you belong among the elite; moving up to 4A didn't keep you from the top. There were doubters out there, but you showed them on the field who was best. Going through the tournament without a loss was a tribute to the players, coaches and great support your team received from parents and the Tooele community. To Murray: what a fine group of young ladies. Watching you battle back against Bountiful showed those of us at that game you had skills, but a lot of heart as well. Bountiful was a quiet but a tough opponent. We didn't know much or hear much about the Braves, but they were a strong team who showed they deserved to be near the top. Springville had a tough tournament, but if the ball bounced differently a few times, they would have been there at the end too. Dixie, Roy and other 4A teams at state proved 4A is a tough division with some of the state's best young ladies. Thanks to Lauren Folta, Brittany Gonzales and Kelsey Mendenhall, the three seniors on the Buff team who were leaders all year long. Great season-good luck in college softball!

This was a TRUE state championship game. Both fans and teams were very respectful and very good. These are two great teams and played their hearts out.Both teams have great college bound players. Just an overall great game! Congrats to Tooele showing you do belong in 4a and leaving no doubt! Congrats to both teams on a great season, especially Tooele and it's three senior leaders Brittany Laur and Kels amazing career girls!
