"These soldiers gave up their life to keep our nation free"

Wouldn't it be nice if that were true. This statement presupposes that those in charge of our government have always had the wisdom when they committed us to war to do it for wise purposes, when it would actually be in our best interests, of preserving our freedom etc.

Perhaps some see this nation as being so fourtunate as having only leaders with this wisdom. Do you?
