I would also like to welcome Bradley Blake home. He deserves a great Father's Day! Thanks for writing about him -- he deserves to be honored!

I wonder how many civilians sacrificed time with their families and missed children being born in order to support his deployment? Civilian contractors are treated like miscreants in this war. Without them, Brad wouldn't have been able to eat wonderful meals at the DFAC, have a free laundry service to wash and fold his clothes, or a clean bathroom to shower in. He may have even escaped death due to civilian forensic "CSI" teams taking bad guys off the streets. Thank Brad, but don't forget about the civilian base that supported him.

Thanks for servicing our country from someone that has also been there. I just wish that more people would realize how much sacrifice is need to keep our country safe.

I don't forget the civilians that helped me. The Bosnian mechanics, the Ukrainian cooks, the Phillipino laundry manager, oh yeah and the American K9 handler who was making $600 a day tax free and the American cook who made 3 times what this specialist did. I think KBR, Titan, L3, Blackwater and Triple Canopy employees have received substantial thanks from the American public in the form of their excessive paychecks. I don't think the young soldiers like SPC Blake can ever be thanked enough.

THANKS FOR BEING SO STRONG AND HOLDING OUT UNTIL BRAD CAME HOME. I'M SURE AT TIMES YOU WANTED TO PULL YOUR HAIR OUT AND FELT LOST AND LONELY BUT YOU DID A GREAT JOB! I BET IT'S NICE TO FINALLY TAKE A BREATH AND RELAX SINCE HE IS HOME NOW.
I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!!!
