Williams has golfed every day since the season ended? He's addicted to it? I have to say, I'd much rather see him working on his basketball game. He has the talent to become on of the three or four best players in the game, if he works at it. As a fan, it's a little disheartening to hear that a player is spending hours a day working on another sport. Put that time into finishing with your left-hand, D-Will! Put that time into your ball-handling to cut down on your turn-overs! Put that time into your lateral defense!

I would love to AK-47 take a hack at a golf ball...something tells me he has a more horrific swing than Charles Barkley.

dont you worry, he still works on his ball skills, golf doesnt take 12 hours.

Need a break. | 2:30 p.m. June 17, 2008
Rambo,

Williams needs a break. I guarantee he is still preparing for next season. You gotta change things up. If he enjoys golf, great!

What? Dick wrote an article about something that doesn't have to do with BYU, is that possible?

I am totally fine with Deron Williams playing golf everyday. The man was the only one to bring his jockstrap to the b-ball court every night. He deserves it. Every one needs a break from their day job. Even Jordan was found on the golf course in his spare time.

I am not worried about Deron being focused come the end of October.

Get a life John!

I think eveybody needs to lay off of Deron. Its his life he can do what he wants with it. And Rambo how long do you think that he stays on the golf coarse. I can say full knowing he is tightening his game.

By The way he is one of the best ball handlers in the league

I was half-joking with my comment... however Jazz Fan, he turns the ball over WAY too much, which is what I meant my ball handling. Also, I think that he could be one of the top three players, not just point guards, but overall players in the league, IF he dedicates himself to get there. But yeah, maybe I was a little harsh on the man, everyone needs some time off.
