While addressing a youth group in church today, speaking of the social unrest and political tumult of an election year 40 years ago, tears welled up in my eyes as I thought of Bobby Kennedy, the times, his campaign and assassination.

What's wrong with me? I'm an arch conservative? Then and now. Goldwater in '64, the whole bit.

Whether the media crafted an image or captured one, something about Bobby Kennedy struck home with me.

Today I felt so conflicted I thought I might need to see the Bishop. Oh, I am the Bishop.
