We have been breathing smoke-filled air for two weeks now, and have limited visibility. On top of that this week is breaking heat records! Not fair!
A friend is living in Paradise, and the family was evacuated the last time. I haven't been able to get hold of her yet, but presume she is again out of her home. Three ward members that she knew lost their homes the first time, plus others that she does not know (because they did not live in her particular area). Out here the "ward" boundaries are often quite large, so you can have people living some distances from each other.
One of my ward member friends has been out on a strike team all of last week, and probably will be called out again.
All your good thoughts and wishes (and prayers) would be much appreciated.
Again - thank you if you have sent a family member out here to help, and especially if you are the firefighter!
