If Kreis has to sit in the suite box for us to get victories, then warm up the recliner. I'll take W's no matter what he superstition is. We'll see come Chicago.

First in the West!!!
'suspension' | 10:17 a.m. July 13, 2008
does anyone else find it funny that a 'suspended' coach gets to talk to the team before, after, and at halftime, and gets to be in constant contact with the bench? you could even argue that there is a better tactical perspective to the game from up in the press box.

I'm not sure how much the 1-2k hurts his pocketbook, but it seems like a reasonable price to vent your frustrations, get your point across to the league, take up for and light a fire under your team, all with little to no tactical disadvantage.

Jason obviously has it figured out. Kries for coach of the year!

If we beat Chicago with Kries in the box then I think he needs to insult Don Garber's mother in the next press conference. Hopefully that will get him another suspension, maybe five games or more, and we can keep the Ws coming.

And 'suspension' makes a good point about tactics. Most soccer coaching happens in practice. Of all the sports I'd say soccer has the least amount of in game coaching making it so everything can be done from the box. Kreis is getting his point across without hurting the team or his ability to manage the game.
