I fully agree with this writer--Brett is acting like a five year old who didn't like the toy his parents gave him for Christmas and wants them to return it after he has played with it. Grow up Brett--you made a decision and you need to live by it.

Props to John Stockton and Barry Sanders for being done when they said they were.

Favre has earned the right to change his mind. In the 25 years between Lombardi and Favre, the Pack went to the playoffs twice. And, post-Favre, the Pack will retreat into mediocrity again. Favre is a hall of fame QB who gives the Packers the best chance to win. That's why Green Bay should welcome him back with open arms.

Then DO NOT RETIRE in the first place!!! He earned tyhe right to stay and play and the Packers would have acepted that. He played his card. He retired.
Move on Pack.
Move on Pack.

I am from Wisconsin and though not a big football fan, I want to see my teams do well. Brett made the choice to move on therefore signaling the organization to do the same. Sports is big business and apparently, Brett doesn't understand business. The team is willing to accept him back, but on their terms, not his. He is, after all, the EMPLOYEE! It doesn't matter to me how much he has done for the Packers, that's what he was hired for. I'm tired of the coddling overpaid boys get to play games and I'm proud of the stance Ted Thompson and the Packers have taken. I just hope they don't cave to the bullying of the people of this state. Thanks Amy, for hitting the nail on the head. The media in this state are blinded by the misplaced crown they have put on Favre's head.

Brett Favre will never be mistaken for Bart Starr.
