I am fascinated by any interest shown in a new recreation center. Provo city has too much on their financial plate as it is....an over-built library, the ironton business park (no tenants), a little used arts center and the premature demise of a golf course that never should have been touched in the first place. Cynthia Dayton needs to let her friends and neighbors know that the city is still paying for the re-placement of a beautiful $60,000.00 flag pole. Why doesn't the city take one of the many, many vacant buildings in downtown Provo or the East Bay business area and improve something that's alreay there.
