So why is this a federal issue? Gotta love Matheson's posturing. He acts like he's so busy right now, but what has he really accomplished? Nothing.

I'm a registered Republican and vote that at least 75% of the time, but I can appreciate that Matheson is willing to tackle the nuts and bolts issues that comprise good government (you don't think water is an important or federal issue? wait until it's lacking, or CA sucks it all up!).
He's not pushing for a worthless "gas tax holiday," or anything so sexy. He's just doing what he always does, trying to get important and boring things done, and being a good representative of Utah's interests. It's why he keeps getting elected in a GOP state. Some GOP blowhards, chameleons, and grandstanders could learn a lesson. I only hope they are, or the GOP is lost forever. Matheson is the only national level Democrat I have ever voted for, and I don't regret it.
