Redding is located south of Lake Shasta. Lake Shasts is formed by a dam built by the Bureau of Reclamation.

Last week it hit 144 in Redding and fight fighter fought these wildfires bravely.

Redding is very conservative. Many folks in Redding, over the years, many risidents have asked:"what has the federal government ever done for us?" In six months this will return to being their question de jour.
