I love Pirate O's.
I moved from Holiday where sadly the store closed, but much to my surprise, I found the Draper store, which is, I think a much more inviting store.
I am from England, so being able to get my
"English fix" sweets, ginger beer and tons of other items that take me back to "jolly old England for just a mo," so close to home, is wonderful.
In fact I need to go there today to buy stuff for my brother to send to him in Oregon.

My friends and family who live out of state are constantly surprised that we have no Trader Joe's but I always say yeah but we have Pirate O's. I did not know they had moved out to Draper, and I don't drive out there very often, it is not the cost of gas but the hassle of it all.
To Dorothy -you may find the English items you needs at the British Store to the east of Trolley Sq on 7th East or the Dan's grocery store on Foothill Blvd, which has just added a large supply of goods from G.B.
I did like P.O's when I did visit it once or twice.

I do know about the London Market across from Trolley also British Pantry down town, I didn't know about Dan's on Foothill. Thanks for the heads up.
With gas prices as high as they are I find myself frequenting the closest store, which at the moment is P.O's.
World Market just off of 7200 south and 13th also has everything. Dorothy.

Good Chocolate Selection | 4:40 p.m. July 19, 2008
I go to PO's fairly regularly for good French and German chocolate - they have a pretty good selection. My only sadness comes from that fact that they can't get in any Poulain dark w/ hazelnut bars.
