Thank heavens! Conan is about 500x's funnier than Leno. So, good riddance, I say!

Even with the ratings lead as Leno hands off the baton, Conan will lose audience. He is too frenetic and weird and too self-conscious for Middle America to watch night in and night out. He should have stayed behind the camera.
Sometimes I cringe at how unfunny he is.

When Leno leaves the Tonight Show, so do I.

I, on the other hand, will finally tune into the Tonight Show for the first time in 15 years when Leno moves and O'Brien makes it funny again.
Ferguson!!!!! | 12:49 a.m. July 22, 2008
Craig Ferguson is funnier than all of them, Kimmel and Letterman included. Leno is ok but Conan is as unwatchable as Letterman. Put the Scot in charge!!!
Steve - Jerry Seinfeld | 1:27 p.m. July 22, 2008
CBS should be deliriously happy... they're going to win the late night talk wars hands down the entire night come June 2009. After watching their local news people will tune in to Letterman in mass droves and hang around to watch Craig Ferguson. I really can't see Conan's replacement on his current show beating Ferguson.
Letterman is the new "Johnny Carson", has been for awhile if you ask me. When he finally retires it will be a sad day for late night talk. NBC blew it big time when they picked Leno over Letterman for Carson's replacement on "The Tonight Show".
NBC should've pursued Jerry Seinfeld to replace Leno instead of Conan. Jerry could hold his own against Letterman, maybe/probably even beat him (though I myself would remain loyal to Letterman). So CBS, if you're reading this, keep Seinfeld in mind for an eventual replacement for Letterman.
Anyone else agree Seinfeld would be a great late night talk show host? His opening monologue each night would be interesting.
