Our office changed to the e rx a year ago at great expense and then the DEA said last fall the scripts had to be written and signed by the Doctor. They also said that if they were not written and signed by the doctor it could be considered fraudulant. So we went back to the paper scripts. Leavett needs to talk with the DEA about this. The Doctors liked the e-rx and it was better for us and our patients.

I know that electronic signatures are now considered legal in most venues. They can be encrypted and very secure. I expect this issue will work itself out.
