Thanks for highlighting and commemorating Prof. Pausch. His "last lecture" is inspiring. As with many folks who face life-altering events, he chose to take the good from the lessons and distill them for himself, his family, and others.

He exemplifies the type of people who are my heroes. Those who those who willingly show up, actively contemplate, then persevere against the odds to create the life they were meant to live. Hele on!

Dr. Pausch's message was amazing, uplifting, and priceless! I heard of him from my husband about a year ago, who has used Dr. Pausch's message as he has mentored his employees. I saw Dr. Pausch appear on Oprah in Oct of last year, and for those who look it up on YouTube...it is 10 minutes of your time that is totally worth it!!! HIs original "Last Lecture" was over an hour long. The condensed one on he gave on Oprah is shorter but just as amazingly powerful!
God bless him for the message he left the world. And God's peace be with his wife, and his 3 children as they go through this (albeit anticipated) very difficult event of Randy's passing.
Wonderful... | 12:39 p.m. July 25, 2008
story indeed and it is nice to read about a Wonderful Individual who is making the difference out there in this confused and unfocused world.

Thank you Dr. Pausch and R.I.P.

he was very inspiring, made me look at the world differently. I am truly sorry for his passing, and my heart goes out to his wife and kids.
