I keep on thinking about LHM. I wish him well. After the update on his health, assuming it's good, we can all start harping on him and his son to sign Wilt Chamberlaim.

Larry, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Hope the medical profession is astute and taking good care of you. You have done much good for "good ole Utah", this is true and we are not ready to lose you. Keep hanging on. We want to see that Larry Miller smile once again in person.

I have not personally met LHM except briefly on a very narrow walkway exiting a small, local family-owned mexican food restaurant. This restaurant, which has long since closed, served its clean and tasty food on paper plates. I was entering the restaurant on the narrow sidewalk when LHM and four men who appeared to be members of his staff were exiting. Mr. Miller, being the gentleman that he is, said, "Excuse us, Maam," and directed his entourage to exit the walkway and let me pass. At the time, I had no idea who LHM was but later learned his identity from pictures which appeared in the local newspapers. I have repeated this incident many, many times to my friends and even complete strangers. Thank you, Mr. Miller, in that brief encounter, you made an indelible impression for good on a working woman who was on her lunch hour. May God bless you abundantly in whatever your need.

When LHM's situation can no longer be hidden, be ready for a shock. Adult onset diabetes is a cruel, insidious disease. Blindness, dramatic weight gain or loss, circulatory diseases along with the to remove a dying limb, are all serious result of diabetes out of control.
Pray for the man, this isn't going to be easy.
