Most of us will never have a storybook life, and will have to face fears, and either learn humility and dependence on the real Source of strength or live miserably otherwise.
Thank you, Steve Young for saying it well.

He's always been a hero to me.

If I remember correctly, his first start at BYU was against Georgia in 1980 or '81. He said later he was so nervous he threw up before the game. He threw quite a few interceptions and BYU lost the game.

Not exactly a good start to a college career.

Yet he persevered. Just like he did playing for the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and while waiting to start behind the great Joe Montana while with the 49'ers.

But I admire him most for his tenacity, his integrity and his sense of humor and humility.

I don't know who married the guy but she's one lucky woman.

NO MORE A HERO TO ME! WHY WOULD STEVE YOUNG ALLOW HIS WIFE TO DONATE $50,000 TO SUPPORT GAY MARRIAGE? JUST BECAUSE HER BROTHER IS GAY, DOESN'T MAKE THIS RIGHT! AS A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST, I FOLLOW HIS TEACHEINGS NOT THE POLITICAL CONFUSION OF THE DAY! HOW CAN ONE SAY THAT FORNICATION, ADULTRY OR SODOMY (OR ANYTHING LIKE UNTO IT) IS NOT A HORRENDOUS SIN! YOU'D BETTER REPENT BARBARA YOU ARE BEING BOUND DOWN BY THE CHAINS OF HELL! NO WONDER STEVE'S HAPPINESS IS WAINING!
