I truly think Norway is the most beautiful place I've ever been.
Next time back, I'll have to venture further north to see Lofoten.

My husband and I went to the Lofotens in 2002. We stayed in a rorbu in A. It was absolutely spectacular. We were there in May, so the spring catch of cod was still drying on the racks all over town. We also ate at the local restaurant, where we dined on cod tongue. It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

We were on a longer train trip, so we took an overnight train from Stockholm to Narvik, then took the bus to A. So, yes, it does take quite a bit of time and effort to get there, but it is so worth it.

Reine is absolutely gorgeous. We took a lot of beautiful pictures there.

All in all, one of my most memorable trips. Likely because we barely slept the whole time we were there. If you require sleep to get along, best to take a sleep mask if you go during the summer.
