Save your money | 8:32 a.m. Sept. 3, 2008
If I was running against Huntsman I would save my money as well. It is Utah!! Who do you think is going to win. Save your money because soon gas may be up to $6 a gallon. Thanks Bush

This is not a REASON to vote Republican
Huntsman likes to live rent free
He is already rich
Cheap skate
Same with all those Republicans in office
We need to get rid od the 2 party system and get the American hat on
Do the business of the people
How many tell you their heart is with the people
NONE

I would not discount Springmeyer. Huntsman has had 4 years - he's done a good job or he hasn't. Supporting McCain, he obviously wanted the VP position or a cabinet position.
Perhaps it is time for a change. I think most politicians need to be replaced and let them come to the conclusion that "We the people" come first - not political ambitions.

Only a simpleton would blame Bush for high gas prices. But then, most voters are simpletons.
Throw the BUM OUT | 9:56 a.m. Sept. 3, 2008
Huntsman is a bum when it comes to the issues. He pushes his power the way he wants and not the way the people, that's right, THE PEOPLE, want. Throw the bum out and vote someone else in.
- A CONSERVATIVE, who has never voted democrat, but starting to think its a good idea on the local scene.

Springmeyer may say that Huntsman's daddy is a billionaire, but the truth is Huntsman is one of Utah's most beloved politicians and Bob is just an elitist who speaks down to others.
Of course Shurtleff is out raising his opponent who has no leadership experience and whose campaign seems to have stalled to a halt.
Even though I tend to vote Republican I would love to see Rendell win his race. I'm embarrassed that Buttars even made it through convention. I also hope that Hatfield sticks it to Bramble, another embarrassment along with Curtis. Governor Curtis? NEVER!

Curtis is a loser | 12:12 p.m. Sept. 3, 2008
Greg Curtis needs to go. We already got rid of Rep. Walker (actually he got rid of himself), and Curtis losing in November would make it a sweet Sandy sweep.

Huntsman is destined for a job in Washington. The real question is who comes after him?

In Hawaii in 2002, we had a heck of a fight and millions of Dollars where spent on both sides. Two Women where running. One the Dem was a married women, of first generation decent (came to America with her mom at age 7) Complete Women’s Lib, Complete Abortion Rights, to include partial birth Abortion. The other Women the Repub. Is Single, White, Jewish, Middle aged and very center, very Hawaiian (3 Generations). Mildly Pro Choice. She promised
Abortion would not be an issue in her Administration and it has not been. When attempts have been made to expand it they have been blocked.
In 2002 I voted for her because the other choice was so unacceptable. In 2006 I voted for her because she did a great job. The Dems who vastly run the State, Did not spend much money and put up a Candidate that did not have a chance. Why? Because there was No Point In Doing So. Same this year with Huntsman this year. Term Limits are a good thing.
