The GOP is just keeping the Utah lunatic fringe out of sight. The utah republicans are so far right that they embarass the mainstream.

Sure, what did you think you would get the front row? Gov Huntsman supports McCain, Utah is the reddest state in the nation and what do you have to show for your few elec college votes? The back of the arena. Wise up fellow Utahan, if the President is from Texas, Arizona or wherever the are not going to care about Utah.

The RNC doesn't care about Utah Republicans. They know that no matter what they do and no matter who they nominate, Utah will reliably vote Republican.
