Barack Hussein Obama's game plan and campaign is not about issues, it's about him and him alone and to stay in the spotlight of the drive by news media anyway he can. His election is about a composite view of what people take away from him only, and that's the TV cameras right now, world wide, because Mrs. Sarah Palin has not come to dominate the news establishment of this country and please them, as Barack Hussein Obama's on his World concert tour did and the O'bot liberal's do, she's going to Washington to please the voter's and the people in America and those that put her in Office as well. Obamacon should know better that this election is NOT ABOUT the Hollywood personalities, it's about the People in Amer and what the "do nothing" Democrat Controled Congress did for no one the past 3 1/2 years while seated in Congress. McCain's campaign has been consistent and clear. McCain's election is about whose judgment you can trust to move America forward. That's why we all should vote for McCain and Mrs. Sarah Palin in November, because Barack Hussein Obama and his O'bot team lies to much.

We need change all right - change from a liberal Washington to a conservative Washington. We have a prescription for every American who wants change in Washington - throw out the big government liberals and elect John McCain. I'm sorry that Barack Obama feels that (Mrs Palin's) home town isn't cosmopolitan enough. I'm sorry, Barack, that it isn't flashy enough. Maybe they cling to religion there.

'Obama cited his proposals to increase the minimum wage and the earned income tax credit; to pump money into wind and solar power, clean-coal technology and biodiesel fuels; and to help subsidize health and tuition costs for many families.'

If you look at his proposals, they are great until you wonder where the monies will come from:
Increase min. wage - business will pay more, but costs for goods & services will go up also.
Earned income tax credit - means that you didn't earn enough to pay taxes, so we will give you a credit so you can get a refund.
Pump money into alt. energy - anything with the words "Pump Money Into..." you know isn't good!
Subsidize health and tuition costs for many families. - the word "Subsidize" is a cool word for "Redistribute someone elses hard earned money to someone that wants a free lunch!"

Remember - TANSTAAFL!

Great, lets talk issues. Stop trying to tie everything to Bush, stop trying to say a woman can be a VP, stop with the age thing, or the house thing, throw down some issues dems. Lets start with the war and the successful surge, dont skirt around it. Then move to an economy that has survived a terrorist attack, irresponsible lending practices, a war, and a huge natural disaster. Then lets talk about foreign policy and who really hates america and what they are trying to do. And finally taxes, let's really get into taxes so that we can see that the dems plan is to milk everything they can from american citizens, rich and poor, so that big government can exist. I won't even touch healthcare, which is the worse plan than our current welfare and social security plans. Lets solve those first before adding another doomed to red tape failure, overcrowed ER plan.

Re: Brother Chuck Schroeder -
If I read the article correctly, it was Rick Davis, Mc Same's campaign manager that said "This election is not about issues," Davis told The Washington Post this week. This protocol is the well established Republican tactic of crafting an image of their opponent and using fear and loathing to divert focus away from the issues.
Re: issues -
I offer that the success of the surge had a great deal to do with the Sunni Awakening. Iraqis realized that it was in their best interest to quell violence with Shiite for the survival of their fragile government. We'll see what happens in Anbar province.
I agree, let's talk about how to get ourselves out of the abyss that eight years of Bush / Cheney has given us - complicit with both houses of congress. Using the conditions that you cited; what mechanism do you propose to pay off this debt other than taxes?

Huh. In none of the comments here has ANYONE been able to refer to ANYTHING said last night in St. Paul that disputes Obama's claim at all.

What issues came up last night? What policies? No one said ANYTHING concrete, just vague, shopworn, empty platitudes about how liberals want to raise your taxes and steal your horses and kidnap your daughters. Republicans don't have anything to run on, because they've been miserable failures at running this country for eight years.

So they simple yell "Head for the bunkers! The dang libruls are comin'!"

And they have the AUDACITY to lecture us about family values and then have a shotgun wedding reception for the pregnant teens on the stage right after the speech, with Levi shaking hands with adulterer McCain and adulterer Giuliani.

Shamefull hypocrisy. Must be the last days.

Good point.

Fortunately, Liberals don't have to worry about being criticized for not having family values. They have none... as evidenced by the fact that they encourage the slaying of the unborn. And even a living child from a botched abortion.

How can BUSH / McCAIN try to escape the last 8 years?

BUSH / McCAIN has some "splainin" to do!

Hussein calling Sarah Palin's speech divisive??? What a gut-wrenching laugh!!!! The Dems can dish it out but they surely can't take it.
