Highland (Idaho) Judge Memorial was not close as reported. judge MEmorial scored two touchdowns in the last 1:30 after Highland (Idaho) had removed most of their starters.

Hurricane D | 11:04 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008
Having seen all three games, the defense for Hurricane is playing well. Tigers are 3-0 and it is good to see the local school do well.
Alta | 11:41 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008
How come Alta's D is so good, but they don't ever talk about them. It’s all O in the papers, when it’s all D that keeps them in the games, with the exception of the Kearns game. Both O & D did very well against Kearns.

Layton can attest Alta's D is tough. Just look at the championship game last year. Layton scored a lot of points all year, but their D is why they were in the state game. Layton had '4' shutouts. Alta's D is what teams ought to be focused on attacking. You must attack their D.....not try to beat their offense.

Good to see the Golden Spike will be back up in Garland! Good job Bears!
Syracuse | 5:05 a.m. Sept. 7, 2008
It's good to see Syracuse doing so well this year. Considering all those boys were kicked off the team last summer. They were kicked off the team, right?

I was at the desert hills game i left during the 3rd quarter assuming it was over... i am actually a little depressed that i missed the come back... but one thing i did notice about emry was their kicker... i dont think i ever even saw the ball go in to the air... everytime he kicked it went like 10 yards... now i am a bingham fan and i am not used to seeing kicks like that but is that just normal for emry or was their real kicker hurt or something?

Judge vs. Highland (Idaho) | 1:51 p.m. Sept. 8, 2008
The Highland, Idaho school is a "big" school. I may be mistaken but they may actually be a 5A school. Judge is a smaller 3A school. Point is that they did just fine going up against a program with more possible athletes. You could compare this game to Judge vs. a Region Three school

Good rationalization... Judge has more possible athletes than anyone with their recruiting styles. A private school who hand picks their players ought to win against any classification. Stop kidding yourself.

Go Syracuse Titans!

Idaho 5A and Utah 5A are different sizes. Highland Idaho is 5A with about 1400 or 1500 students. As I recall that is 4A size in Utah.

Highland Idaho has 1288 students according to the idaho high school athletics association website. Couldn't find similar site for Utah.
