Come on Coach Brad....You should know better than spreading a bogus statement. No way no how is this kid running a 4.6 40. Stop stating hand held times, you have proven to have a slow finger. Look at the Nike Combine, the fastest 40 time recorded for anyone in high school in our state was a 4.55. so Knock it off. And D News stop believing these stories.

thank you ya right | 10:53 a.m. Sept. 7, 2008
desnews, please get the facts from official sources. not a head coach. no kid thats 6 foot 8 runs a 4.6 in hs.
haha | 12:19 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
Every highschool football player thinks they run a 4.6 haha he runs a 5.0 on a laser time. Its like every offensive lineman thinking that he could throw the ball and be a great qb. If you go to nike combines its hilarious to see these kids talk about their 4.4 speed before only to run a 4.8
im on the team and.. | 3:06 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
no doub kuger runs that fast, he is a man child, you people just dont know what your talkkin about maybe if you come to the game you will find out his speed
hahahaha | 5:38 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
4.6?!?!??!?!?! cmon now he aint that fast
re:haha | 6:18 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
I didn't realize that mr. haha was a leading authority on how fast this young man was....maybe he should bring his laser timer with him to a game...lol.
Joke | 9:53 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008
I am amazed, year after year I hear all these fast times. Case and point. This same coach said that their QB from last year ran a 4.5, then he is timed at Snow the opening day this year and he runs a 4.9. Therefore, based on this coaches history, if he timed Krueger at a 4.6, just add 4 tenths and he is more likely at a 5.1 which is still respectful considering his size and age. The real Joke is on coach Brad.

4.6, yeah right. I get so sick of hearing these coaches and kids exhaggerate their 40 times. Ridiculous.

All you guys bashing on this kids 40 time relax! Yeah I believe there is no way he runs a 4.6 but this kid is fast and a great player! I played against him last year and had plenty of times that he was in my face.. Give the kid a break and respect how good of a player is and stop bashing on his speed. He's a D-End not a 100 yard Sprinter
Huh | 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8, 2008
I'm pretty sure no one is bashing the kid. Most people are only commenting on the reported time of 4.6. Even you disagreed with the time!
lkfjaldkj | 12:54 p.m. Sept. 8, 2008
the 40 yard dash is the most over rated measurable in football.. if you can play you can play so everyone needs to quit talking about 40 times.

I watched him run a 40 and was told afterward that it was a 4.7. I believe that.
krugerr | 7:16 p.m. Sept. 8, 2008
alright for kruger is one of the fastest if not the fastest big man in the state he has full ride offers from byu and utah as a junior. every college in utah wants him. he is a athletic freak. who cares if he runs a 4.6 he dominates everyone of the field
speed vs game speed | 9:16 p.m. Sept. 8, 2008
HUGE DIFFERENCE! Who cares how fast someone runs on a track. When you get that rush on a field you go much faster. Watch the kid play and he is pretty close to this time. I think there are a few BYU fans on this site... Jealous are we????
UTAH Fan | 11:18 a.m. Sept. 9, 2008
Just dont go to BYU!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears my question didn't go through the censors, so I'll try again (can't be the same censor 24 hours a day, right?) I think it's a reasonable question. Are the Krugers LDS? I haven't heard of an LDS player from Timpanogos choosing Utah over BYU previously. I am, however, from out of state, so perhaps there is something to local society that I don't understand.
yes | 1:03 a.m. Sept. 10, 2008
krugers are LDS
Right... | 8:59 p.m. Sept. 10, 2008
"When you get that rush on a field you go much faster." Apparently you never played football. Your MUCH faster on the track. A kid that runs a 4.6 on the track then adds Pads, Cleats, grass, a helmet, will then run around a 5.0 Besides, this kid runs around a 5.2 at best. If he ran a 4.6, he would be at reciever
good kid | 4:44 p.m. Sept. 14, 2008
I teach Joe at the seminary. He is a quiet leader. He has a lot of potential. I know he can achieve great things. i wish him all the best!!
