It is sad that the Los Angeles Angels call up some of the Bees better players while the playoffs are on. The Angels are 17 games ahead in their division and only need two games to clinch the Divisional Championship and go on to the playoffs. It happens every year. It appears that the Angels and the Bees don't think that playoff baseball in the Pacific Coast League is all that important. It is important to the fans in Salt Lake City to see the Bees advance to the Pacific Coast League Championship. Leave our best players in Salt Lake for the league playoffs.

You are half right. The Angels don't appear to think its important, but the players left behind and the coaches think it is.

Well, they're more successful than the 12 PCL teams that didn't make the post-season. I've never been able to figure that out. If the playoffs are the only thing that count, why do they have 140 or so regular season games?
