However,athough adults are able to separate the speaker somewhat from the speech, they, too value the points you made: *Is the person honest, *Does the person care about them, and *Does the person offer hope. Look to our political climate today and the dissatisfaction people have with situations-a desire for change or a desire to clean up corruption in the federal level. This seems to speak to these three basic ways of responding to a speech.
It is why we are all so confused as to whom we ought to vote for. Are the candidates honest? Do they care? Do they offer hope?
Your three points of youth expectations can serve as a model for any leader.
