I couldn't agree more. Being in the park is one thing, but being in a theatre, with other people who are there to enjoy a show or play, means that one abides by common sense manners. If we were more kind and thoughtful of those around us, we certainly wouldn't come with dirty, nearly bare feet which we then display for all to see.
The plays are wonderful, | 8:00 p.m. Oct. 5, 2008
they always are. But the manners of theater goers has definitely changed for the worse over the years. As we've become more "casual" as a society we've forgotten that sometimes we just need to use more manners. I'd love it if people could remember that feet go on the floor. Not on seat in front, not on the armrest. Some basic manners need to be brought back to most all the venues from Cedar City to downtown Salt Lake.

I've seen that type of foot behavior at the movies and always find it appalling!!!! Almost if not worse, then the people who do that on the bus!!!

Come on people - There just feet, get over it. I've never encountered this at any theatre Ive been too but it might just be that I'm focused on whats playing out on stage not whats going on in the audience.

When some numbskull puts his feet on an empty seat near your head and bobs his foot up and down during a show, you try to get over it.
It's rude. It's distracting.
It would be the same if I sat in front of you and raised my arms above my head to stretch throughout a show. They're just arms, get over it.
