Once again, more proof that Mascaro is really a democrat in Republican clothing.

The state law that requires the statement "paid for by" is a violation of Federal Court rulings that cited the first amendment right of free speech.

Why are Democrats even running against Mascaro? Mascaro supports higher taxes, more welfare, opposes vouchers and basically toes the Democratic line.

I feel that Rep Mascaro is one of the level-headed legislators up on the Hill. We know how many goof-balls are up there. He represents my district well.

What is the potential sanction?

Carl Wimmer also sent out a mailer last week without any disclosure. These guys need to follow the law.

Mistakes happen. We all can't be perfect. How many times have you driven above the speed limit, by accident or on purpose? How many times did you NOT come to a full three second stop at a stop sign, by accident or on purpose? Indeed we hold these Representatives to higher standards, but does that require perfection, even on the part of all of their staff? Some things get overlooked, some things are forgotten. There is a huge difference between a mistake and intentional misconduct. But, a perfect person such as yourself would not, could not possibly understand that. Eldredge, if these men were perfect, you still wouldn't like them. Sincerely, an ordinary, imperfect, human voter.

Rep Wimmer is clueless. He has a plan to reduce taxes in Jordan School District West by 50%. Really!! With the district split, taxes will go up significantly and Wimmer will have no voice. Wimmer and his Republican friends, i.e. Curtis, Hughes, Butters, Newbold, etc. should all be voted out of office because of their support of the district split that will raise property taxes in Riverton, Herriman, Bluffdale, South Jordan, West Jordan. They all think they are a super school board so they should be held accountable for their vote on this issue as well as vouchers. They DO NOT represent the people who elected them as indicated by their vote to pass vouchers, in spite of a 10 year history of non-support by the voters of Utah.
