This is a tough situation for that water body, soon we'll need it for more and more recreation in addition to the power production and irrigation value. Protecting, maintaining and improving a water body like this is simply not a local issue. Our Utah population explosion ( said to double again by 2025) and higher and higher transportation costs will increase damands for more "local" recreation venues. I'd suggest that Cache County and Logan City look far beyond their "home town" folks for assistance. Mainly Federal ( and State) funding to bring this water up to current National standards. I'm sure, with the proper approaches, that significant Federal dollars can be made available as matches for minimal local funding.
