I wish | 6:14 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
I wish I had all of the mud that McCain has thrown so far. I wish I could have all of the mud he and Palin are going to throw between now and the election. I would put the mud into the land bank and become a billionaire! Maybe buy 7 homes and cars I cannot remember the name of. Or a home in Alaska and ask the local authorities to give me a variance so i can sell it at a higher price.

Give us a break! Talk about the economy and your plans. Tell us if you still support privatizing the social security program. Tell us...

not with a wink, but with some facts based on knowledge.

Look out for the mud: it is to distract us from who the best candidates are who have the best ideas and energy and leadership.

Look out for the mud people!!!!!!

John McCain called Democrat rival Barack Obama a liar as he leveled his harshest criticism yet, and said the campaign boils down to one basic question: Who is Obama really?, Will this be asked by the people in this demo-bait or debate?. McCain, speaking about the financial crisis, took offense at Obama's accusation that McCain opposed regulation that would have prevented the credit crunch. I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed, McCain said. The voters want to know just Who is the real Sen. Obama?". "Is he the candidate who promises to cut middle class taxes, or the politician who voted to raise middle class taxes?. Is he the candidate who promises change, or is he the politician who has bought into everything that is wrong with Washington? And he's bought into it, big time. "Why has Sen. Obama refused to disclose the names of people funding his campaign," McCain said as the crowd booed. "His campaign had to return $33,000 in illegal foreign funds from Palestinian donors." Rev. Jeremiah Wright; convicted Chicago businessman and contributor Antoin "Tony" Rezko, and William Ayers are 0bama's CLOSEST BUDDIES?.
new slogan | 6:18 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
The new McCain slogan should be out of touch, no ideas, running out of time and getting desperate

Cry baby cry | 8:05 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
McCain needs to think about his health, he doesnt need to get furios when he is speaking, be carefull you can get an heart attack, and worsed we can have "Miss Folksy" aka Hockeymom aka Soccermom aka Joe six pack etc...President.
Talking about those Obama "close friends" is not going to help, sad but true!

Reps are talking about freedom war, patriotism in war, middle class guys going to war, please stop, going to war "cowboy diplomacy" is not the solution for ALL these issues

I am so tired of hearing slander and lies from McCain/Palin. If they want to win why not tell the people of their plans to change the economy and how they would provide health care for those who have none.

I find it hard to tolerate such an atmosphere of hate coming from them. Instead of solutions they seem to be trying to incite their followers by openly telling distortions and lies. The American people deserve to have leaders that can lead. I want my President/VP to be respected by other nations and peoples because of their abilities to lead and inspire us as a country. Tearing someone else down certainly doesn't lift anyone up.

I hope that people will be able to discern from the propaganda what is true and be able to vote to raise us from theis horrible quagmire. I believe that Barack Obama is the right candidate at the right time. He has my vote!

the people have recognized that McCain's plans are the same plans that have lead us into this mess for the last 8 years. Think about it he wants to increase tax breaks for the rich, he wants to shift the full burden of fighting to get reasonable healthcare onto individuals while relieving business owners of any responsibility to assist their employees, he still wants to privatize social security even after this giant mess on wall street. He is still holding onto war policies and foreign policies that even the current administration has recognized as wrong headed. He cannot talk policy as bad as rhetoric is the truth about his policy plans is even worse.
I love America | 10:21 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
Please McCain no more lies and trying to do anything but talk about the issues at hand.

We as Americans are sick and tired of the Karl Rove style of politics.

Look at what we have had for a leader the last eight years.

We don't care about your mud slinging any more!
A Mouse in Your Pocket? | 10:59 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
Hey, I Love America, what's this "we" stuff? Do you have a mouse in your pocket? My progenitors came to America in 1669 and several of them were Minute Men and fought in the Revolutionary War. I, too, love America, but apparently for different reasons than you do. I will compare my "I Love America" credentials with yours any day.

Palin, especially, is attempting to incite fear and hate among their supporters. According to one article, a supporter at a Palin rally yesterday shouted that Obama should be killed. This kind of campaigning should not be tolerated in the United States. This kind of thing, the anger and hate shown by McCain/Palin supporters has been growing for years encouraged by the hate of the right wing talk show hosts like Limbaugh and Hannity. The FBI should be all over this, and if anything happens to either of the Democratic candidates, but John McCain and Sarah Palin should be charged with crimes.

Sarah Palin is EVIL, she is a wolf in sheeps clothing but the folks of Utah are used to that, that is why they want her, they have belonged to a cult for so long that they don't know how to stand and fight against the evil in their face

All you liberal psycos need to shut your traps and pay attention to life. If you notice, McCain is the one telling us how it is and all obamas side can do is try to tell us what McCain thinks. Maybe you all should watch the debates. Obama is secretive about who he really is and what he really believes. As for the "mess", Life is tough. Get used to it.

Maybe you all should take a good look at history. Especialy Hitler and how he got in to power. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, must be a duck.

If McCain and Palin know something about Obama's character that we don't, they have the responsibility to inform us. If that's mud slinging then give me a shovel.
Repeat--I'll Try Again | 2:21 p.m. Oct. 7, 2008
I posted the following at about 10:30 a.m. but apparently the censors found something offensive in it or maybe, just maybe, they are in the tank for B.O. I prefer to think that is not the case but that they exercise at least a modicum of neutrality. The following was taken from documents recently acquired under the Freedom of Information Act: B.O., the "community organizer", with a great deal of taxpayer money given to him by William Ayers and under William Ayers' direction, was to administer said money to improve the educational resources of students. Instead of using the money for which it was intended, he used his "community organizer" skills and the money to radicalize students. B.O.'s favorite dishonest and criminally indicted for vote fraud, radical organization ACORN is in Ohio and other battleground states signing up young people to vote--early and often. B.O. is a slick and shrewd barrister. When anyone dares question and even present facts about his radical pals and his radical background, B.O. and his minions immediately scream "smear." Tonight, in the debate, I hope John McCain nails him on his radical propensities. That is a legitimate campaign issue, notwithstanding B.O.'s cry of smear.
Montrose | 4:02 p.m. Oct. 7, 2008
Neocons who claim to to love America "the best" are a complete joke. Look what you fools have done to our country in the last eight years. You have ruined the economy, ruined the future of our children who will be paying for the Bush years forever. Health care, in the toilet. Education in the toilet. Jobs, housing, in the toilet.

Yes, you certainly love America to best don't you?
source? | 5:06 p.m. Oct. 7, 2008
So let me repeat the question I asked you on the other forum that you conveniently ignored, what is your source of information? Some how I have to doubt your credibility since you refuse to give your source. I am begin to think this just more of the same old lies we have been hearing.
Mount Vesuvius??? | 6:36 p.m. Oct. 7, 2008
Montrose, Montrose, Montrose, who has been in control of both houses of the 9% approval rated Congress for the past two years. Surely being the majority party for two years, they could have accomplished something but they did nothing, that is nada, zilch, except obstrust and obfuscate. The wimpy Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the narcisistic House Speaker Nancy Polosi contributed heavily to the dismal failure of that body. Montrose, you neglected to attribute the eruption of Mount Vesuvius to the Bush Administration. Shame on you.
@Mount vesuvius??? | 6:55 p.m. Oct. 7, 2008
so Mount vesuvious does any blame belong with the bush administration that all of a sudden found its veto pen? Does any of the blame belong with the republicans that controlled both houses and the presidency for six out of the last eight years?
