Mark Russel claims, as did Senator McCain, that the "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" comment was only a joke. I remember when I was in college and the Secretary of Agriculture, Earl Butz, made a "joke" about the motivations of black men. He was forced to resign over those comments. People in high places of government, especially those in a position to become President, should have the good judgement not to "joke" about serious subjects, in whatever venue they find themselves. The fact that Butz was forced to resign for his comments and McCain gets a pass is an indication of how far down the wrong road we have come as a society.

McCain sound and speaks an awful lot like Bush. He says he can do most anything, but when has he ever done anything.

He indicates he can do everything. No plan just elect him like you did Bush! Twice!!!

A group of colleagues and I concluded that McCain is in the process of scuttling his own campaign, because, face it, who in their right mind would want to be president at a time like this?

So why hasn't he done it? Is it necessary for him to be president to share? We've been after Bin Laden for years now, billions of money spent, lives lost...and he's known all along? Is he crazy or delusional? Maybe both.

McCain's statement the other evening about how he know's how to get Bin Laden was the wackiest thing I've heard in ages. So, why has he kept this a secret for so long while more Americans get killed in Afghanistan? What a fake he is.

I saw a figure the other day that compared donations to both presidential campaigns by veterans. Obama was winning this race by about 5 to 1. What does that tell you about the feeling veterans have for McCain?
