I will never understand why residents complain about recycling? Its really simple to do. Is it because they are lazy? Who cares if you have to pay an extra $4 a month on your bill. In some states, recycling is mandatory and you pay $12-$15 a month to recycle. We have it cheap here. Recycling is an easy first step to controlling pollution and its a good way to prevent the land fill from filling up quicker.

First off Centerville already has a recycling program that everybody uses. All the trash is hauled up to Layton and then burned, that heat then produces electricity. What needs to stop is manditory fees. I personally will gladdly pay the $6-$7 for a different type of recycling but don't make other citizens pay that are on limited income.

Second DO NOT COMPARE CENTERVILLE TO WEST VALLEY, these two cities are polar opposites. Centerville medium income 79K population 15K, West Valley medium income 49K population 108K.
