George Bush and Dick Cheney should be indicted...
Enough Already! | 4:29 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Yet another deception foisted on the American people by this administration.

When history is written we all will be embarrassed by 1)the hope we had George W. Bush and his administration would bring a more disciplined and moral approach to managing our country and 2) the unqualified support we invested in the administrations.

Two weeks ago I was watching Jay Leno with my wife. The young actor Shia Lebuff (spelling) was on, who she thinks is adorable. He was promoting his new movie dealing with secretive government agencies.

He said during the interview that they had an FBI agent who acted as a consultant to the movie director, making sure what they did was accurate, or at least not completely wrong.

Shia had a conversation with this FBI agent and during this the FBI agent pulled up a phone call that this young actor had made several years earlier and played it for him. The FBI agent was showing off the technology and eavesdropping ability of the FBI.

According to this young actor the FBI records all conversations in via the NSA and have access to them. That would make America a completely facist state with absolute observation.

I have called several congressional offices to see if this is true and get a lot of 'ho hums' that they don't know.

If it is true we should expect in the coming years secret arrests of "dissidents" or better yet "terrorists."

George Orwell was right. And George Bush is horribly wrong.

I'm Republican.

Senate "Intelligence" Committee.....doesn't that term violate some kind of mislabeling law?

In a recent interview Joe Biden credited Cheney with having done horrendous damage to the constitution. I tend to agree.

The NSA has been doing this for a long time. It appears now in our country, more than ever since 9-11, that all levels of our government violate the law and our constitutional rights without there ever being a consequence. It seems that the Bill of Rights and our Constitution mean nothing to them anymore. It reminds me of Captain Moroni's Title of Liberty. Perhaps we should do likewise.
Democrates are sick | 8:09 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
With the highly partisan approach by Dems in Congress, what we need is to actually work for the people ... rather that always looking for "Bush" under every rock.
If the Dems didn't have so much to hide, they'd not be looking under all the rocks. I guess they hope for find Barney Frank in a hotel with another "friend".

The mind set in W.D.C. is to kill each other in hopes of winning another election....we the people seem to be forgotten....cynical??? Possibly....

Big deal if you don't do or talk about about anything illegal you don't have to worry.
Lets Clean Our Own House First | 8:48 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Before we go emulating any of our heroes from the scriptures, we would be wise to clean up our own behavior and the behavior of those who belong to our congregations.

None of us is without guilt and all of our congregations are under condemnation for looking the other way while basic human rights were stolen and lives destroyed all in the name of freedom.

I will forever be both saddened and deeply embarrassed by what members of my church did to both facilitate and perpetrate the torture of enemy combatants captured on the field of battle.
Snoops for Troops | 9:21 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
According to recent polls, 68 percent of military voters support McCain.

Perhaps they should consider Bob Barr, who opposes the invasions of privacy the Bush administration has perpetrated.

The abuses of power by Bush and Cheney are a stain on the American flag.

mom|8:23am:
Do you not realize how unpatriotic that statement is? Have you read the Constitution?

Democrats are sick|8:09am:
You change the subject because you know that the actions reported her are completely indefensible.

I love it: Republicans lie and break the law and conservatives whine about "partisanship" when they get caught.
Observer | 10:02 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Look, when Bush came out in favor of spying on American citizens, Republicans, especially Utah Republicans were all in favor of it. Liberals were warning you from the very beginning about what would happen if Bush was allowed to do this. Just like liberals warned you about what would happen with Iraq. Now, you have what you wanted and these are the facts. You Republicans, through your blind support of George W. Bush have been directly responsible for the largest deterioration of individual rights in the history of the US. You should be very proud of yourselves.
mom are u nuts? | 10:36 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Are you insane? Give unlimited power to the gov't to listen to every call. Whats next, cameras in your homes to make sure you are not a terrorist. Where does it end? Cops can search every car, go into any home without warrants or probable cause. Sounds like communist Russia. I think this may be actually be the answer to winning the war on terror. All the Republicans say that the terrorist hate us for our freedom. Well if we take the freedom away then I guess they won't hate us anymore. And we thought Bush was an idiot.
Stop the Blame Game! | 11:22 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
"Let's clean our own house first, 8:48a.m.", And how are we to blame? Tell me specifically, what you expect us to do. What do you mean by "looking the other way". How can I honestly be "guilty" of human rights violations?

"Observer, 10:02a.m.", There was no way anyone who voted for Bush could have ever known of the evil he would do before they voted for him (at least the first time). I submit to you that our "so called" two party system, republicans and democrats alike, are all to blame. The democrats who have been in control of both houses, could have clipped his wings long ago. You see, what you haven't figured out yet, is there is no two-party system. It's all a diversion to keep you and I thinking that our vote really counts.
Vote ALL Republican's in 2008 | 11:51 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
As it was said in The A-Team, "I love it, when a plan comes together", by Mr. T.

I am GLAD our Government is listening in on all phone calls, either home or cell phones, and, everything else to for that matter.

If those liberal's had NOTHING to hide, someone shoud ask them, "would you like some more free government cheese, to go along with your whines now?."

Their just parnoid they'll get BUSTED BIGTIME NOW is all folks.

Let them rant and rave, that's about all they can do, after all, they did nothing for the past 4 years in Congress either. But sit on their lazy butts and collect a free pay check.

That's why we ARE GONNA put McCain and Sarah in The White House, for REAL CHANGE in Washington DC.
Glad about listening in huh | 1:05 p.m. Oct. 10, 2008
There is no way that you are as stupid as you post would suggest. It is impossible for me to believe that any American would think it is a good idea for OUR government to listen to all OUR private communications. Have you ever heard of the CONSTITUTION. The only reason you believe it is OK is becaused your Neo-con president authorized it. If you used your Brain for 1 minute you would realize the reason we are in the financial mess that we are is because Bush has spent so much time worrying about expanding his powers that he missed the locomotive speeding down the tracks and hitting him in the face. That locomotive was the economy and it will cost him and his party dearly in the fall elections. Rant and rave all you want, this election is over. Obama will be president and we can all breathe a sigh of relief because he could never govern more poorly than GWB, your hero.
TSA | 2:20 p.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Or how about the TSA groping our wives and daughters at the airport?

How is that even tolerated one degree in a free society?

When will we stand up to this, when they cause us to fornicate with the boys in blue to see if we're stashing any explosives in our crevices?
