Here is a question for the NSA-National Security Agency or even the CIA. CAN THEY TELL US HOW MANY CIA DIRECTIVES WERE ON THE PLANE THAT WERE TARGETED BY LIBYA? I can name you at least one! The plane that was blown up over Lockabe Scotland had a on board an Agent for the CIA who was carrying classified information for the US Military. His known flight data and information was known to the Libyian Military and Intelligence. Because of the information he was carrying and the routes that were used by the CIA Directive, they targeted that airline specific. The result "Collaterall Damage'
US citizens should be used to that by now.Thats real reason why Khadafi has agreed to pay out to some of the victims. Now you dont need to ask why the US forced them on these terms. If you doubt my words contact an Agent of either of those Govnt Offices, some of them were former Utah citizens. Wake up America, your ignorance is showing!!

1. Utah's high rate of aniti depressant use , both legal & illegal, is an embarrasment. Since most residents (hence most users) belong to the dominant religion, maybe it's time for church leaders to publically state a position against prescription drug use/abuse.
2. Who wants to bet that all the potential businesses that Checketts, Dolan & Co. promised would be just dying to build by the stadium never happen? We'll hear about the economy, tougher financing regs, blah, blah, blah. But it will never become anything near what the politicians promised.

"[Competitive sports] is a way of building up irrational attitudes of submission to authority, and group cohesion behind leadership elements -- in fact, it's training in irrational jingoism."
--Noam Chomsky

No wonder the State of Utah felt compelled to devote tax dollars toward erecting this new temple to obedience.

The "predominant" religion's leaders have already made public statements against prescription drug use. Listen or read conference for the last several years and you will find it.

The "ill timed" sprinklers at the Rio Tinto soccer stadium are in fact used before every game to make the ball move faster on the field. This is about the same amount of research and understanding exercised by the Editorial Board during their several year tirade against the soccer stadium. No, this is not ballet or the symphony orchestra but it is an affordable, family oriented event. Even the slugs who live in the South Valley, and who have paid tax dollars over three decades to subsidize the arts in Salt Lake City deserve some type of venue. No, the Editorial Board would rather that the low lifes in the South Valley commute 20 miles each way to SLC. Get over it.
