Watch out Provo Veterans and Employees. All the whiile Billings is talking out of one side of his mouth he is wasting money outside the other. Seven out of eleven years he has cut city budgets, and yet the spending goes higher and higher? How is that? Have the City employees wasted more money with smaller budgets? No, it is on pet projects this mayor has stuffed down the throats of Provo Citizens. Here the City is cutting budgets again for the second time in six months and what is Billings doing? Spending MORE money on Christmas lights. Why? Because he is running for reelection, had his big campaign kicked off with City funds two weeks ago at the Arts Center and now wants to buy more of your votes. This comes after he wasted another 3 million dollars on the final iProvo/Broadweave deal just to make the deal go through. Where did this money come from and what services are declining because of it? All questions we Provo citizens should be asking. The only question I have to ask is isn't 12 years enough? Do we really need more wasteful spending and bad management for four more years?
