Amy, good story, but you missed one. Robert Evans, All-State WR down at Pine View HS, who tore his ACL 3 days before the season opener. Despite that he was voted a team captain. You really ought to chat with 1210 Sports Radio host Devin Dixon, and check out some of the articles on Evans that have run in the Spectrum. He is a GREAT story. Also, we just heard that he received his Eagle Scout Award Oct 8, on top of everything else. You ought to meet him.

I got hurt my senior year and couldn't play at all. Coach said it was the best thing that ever happened to the team. Guess I helped out after all.

you also forgot jordon biorge at tooele. he was the work horse of the team and tore his acl at springville after running for almost 200 yards. also a team captain

Colette Jepson scored 29 goals last season for Davis High. First team all-state as a junior. She missed all of the preseason and region play. She might be back for some of the playoffs. All those goals and talent are tough to replace...Go Darts!!!

I know Heather personally, she is a great example on and off the volleyball court. This has been a hard thing for her, but she has risen above it all.
