Having interest in Carbon High football as I do, I would have to say we have had 8 weeks off already so why not one more day. With the extra day off maybe we can change coaches again. It has been 8 weeks since we last did that. Carbopn coaches usually wait farther into the season to unleash our offense any way. GO DINOS

Should we announce that JD is practicing, sleeping at night, eating lunch at noon. Is there people who work at the paper who have kids on the team. There has been an article each and every week on JD throughout the season. An article to announce a game vs Carbon? Are you kidding me? Delta will whip them in Delta next Friday - mark it down. I have seen film and JD is overrated. They are not as good as they were last year.

Okay, I have to agree with Juan Diego Newspaper. I grew up in Price and hope each and every year that they have a good season, I spent many long trips traveling home on a bus after a loss. It is not easy. I get tired of reading every week about JD.
and putting Juan Diego in the same class as Bingham and Alta is a very big stretch. I now live in Sandy and have been to several Bingham/Alta games. JD could not even walk on the same field with either BHS or AHS unless they were going to march at half time. Go Dino's make us proud.

It is incredible how hard we push these High School kids. When I went to Murray High years ago we had a kid that played football, soccer, baseball, track, basketball and I am sure if they would have let him girls vooleyball. Now we are moving games to give kids more time off so they can relax or drive main street in Price an extra night. One kid in Murray had more drive then all the kids combined. Let us look to a kid like we saw at Murray to set the example.

TO: Juan Diego Newspaper. You sound a little bitter. Maybe Delta is getting NO press. I agree this article is weak, but Juan Diego has not had a game reported article in the DNews for their last 4 blowout WINS! I guess you must ride the "short bus" for the away games as you seemingly cant count, and the articles is an easy thing to prove. My guess is you wish your son made the paper and got some press, well guess what neither is JD and we are NOT whining about it. It just is what it is, all the press goes to Logan in 3A, TV in 4A and Bingham in 5A ... it just is .... Maybe JD is overrated and Maybe the press and sports writers are wrong with ranking JD #1 in 3A and TOP 15 in State, but you will soon find out just how overrated we are next week! Hey Dino Forever ..... I hope you make it to our game on Thursday ... it will be weird for you to only have to drive home the 10 minutes after the loss on Thursday and not like that old long drive on the bus after your loss! JD JV will eat your lunch! I agree that JD cant beat Alta or Bingham but that is NOT a JD person writing those analogies, they are just saying that we are on the TOP like those schools are on the TOP, and you would be surprised at how well JD could do against Bingham or Alta in a losing effort, but still better than most of the 5A schools they have played already this year. Anyways ... I look forward to seeing you at the game and please bring those weekly articles in the DNews that are there every week. I really love to read them!

This is ridiculous... this is not an article, this is simply an announcement to let the public know of the change in schedule. And about the kids getting more time off... that is not the purpose either. This weekend is UEA, so the kids are out of school on Thursday and Friday. They are simply moving the game because the coaches didn't plan ahead when it was originally scheduled. Most games are being played on Wednesday this week.

You either cant read or dont understand english, JD has an article every week about their game. Dont be so sensitive. As far as the game next Friday and the Delta coaches, they will quietly prepare a plan to beat the overrated eagles. Too bad the fans are not as professional as the JD players. Rabbits will win by 10 or more - write it down. If you only knew!!

Juan Diego has put up 327 points and given up 32 points in their last eight games, delta has put up 278 points and given up 39 points. delta beat grantsville 23-0, juan diego beat 65-6 and grantsville only scored because juan diego had there freshman team in the fourth quarter. so? your delta rabbits will put up a good fight but i don't see them walking away victorious. JD WILL WIN STATE!

Hey, I am that Murray Guy. I can't believe the time these kids are taking off to "have a better game." JD needs to grow up and play through the tough times. Carbon don't worry you may be 0-8 but in 2 years from now no one is going to stop you. I expect each of the Carbon players to go out for Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Swimming, Golf, and of course girl's volleyball. If each of you are willing to do this, then you will be ready to take State from either Delta or JD in 2 years. Go Dinos!!!

Knew What .... That Delta is overrated? One dimensional team? What are we missing? JD plays Delta in 7 days ..... Delta gave up points to Salem Hills tonite! JD has the BEST defense in 3A .... and Delta will find out first hand how GREAT Markosian, Berg, Doughty, Bauman, Larsen, McFalls and Jimenez really are! I see several FUMBLES from Delta and at least 1 INT from a team that does not pass much! Anderson & Doughty will each have a TD catch as Delta DB's cant hang with that talent! Don't get me wrong ... It will be a GOOD game that JD needs to get ready for State Playoffs ...... But the score will be JD 27 Delta 10 .... JD may be a good team but Delta isn't going to be beaten by them this year in football. Not going to happen. Delta's team has put it together and will be a shock to the untested JD squad.

Wake Up, this article is about the change date of the Game. It is not about a game next week. Unfortunately for Carbon they can not get a administration to believe in their coaching staff. Do they not care about the kids? JD is always well coached. In fact I believe they have the best coaching staff in the state. No one prepares as hard as John Colosimo. JD needs to be tested unfortunately it will not be until next week. Well that game will only matter in league. JD will have to prove themselves in later rounds of the playoffs.
