I thought that Anderson lacked concentration and dropped far to many Gimmes. I hope the corps of receivers get their act together. We needed bigger
yardage. With Eriksson barking at them maybe they'll turn it up a notch and
get their paws on the ball before looking down field. Jake Murphy and the tight
ends hopefully will rip a page out of the TDS playbook. The TE's are the
key, in my opinion. I hope that Jake has a great year.. he's been a
great addition to the Utes while he has been on the hill. I'm sure glad he
let the Cougars be the bridesmaid after his mission !
Dres and Scott DO need to have big years! The O has to come alive and make some
big plays for sure. I see this year as a sleeper year. Nobody is
expecting great things from this squad but there IS a ton of talent that just
did not show on the field last year due to some injuries and one major
suspension(Blechen). I think Blechen and Riley will be beasts again
this year on the D. Too talented not to. I can't wait until the
end of the month to get things started though.Go Utes!
With Wilson getting the needed reps he will make a big improvement, add that to
the before mentioned improved O-line, and last years in game experience.Let's just start with game 1.Go Utes!
With an improved O line this year Wilson will get the time to find his
receivers. Last year the offensive struggles began with bad O line play. We
should see significant improvement this year in all phases of the O game.
Can't wait for the season to start. Go Utes!
I think its a tough but realistic goal absolutely.I'm
absolutely pumped about Wilson's potential, and with last year under his
belt, I think the coaches will come out gunning from game 1. 8-4
season and we'll be in the hunt for the South title and Rose bowl within
last 1-2 games of season. You can Mark that down.Go Utes!
