I can't wait to see it. I been waiting since I saw Miss Potter and watch the trailer for it. It looks like a good fairytale-twist movie. and I hope she lives happily ever after (as it is a fairytale)

It looks like an inspiring move and it could and im not saying it can im just saying mabye its saying if you dont like yourself dont hide forever BE DISCOVERD!!!!

We saw it in a preview, and loved it! I was with my teenaged daughters, and we all agreed that it was an A+. We laughed a lot, and cried a little and had a great time. The movie was very uplifting. We can all benefit from the message that Penelope teaches us....that we need to love ourselves, and realize that with EVERYONE: it's what's on the iside that counts!

Once again it just goes to show that a critics review is only as helpful as the taste shared with the person reading it. I thought Penelope was one of the best movies I've ever seen but the critics don't seem to agree. Their loss. From what I can tell we will probably never agree on what is good in films and what isn't. I thought this movie was all kinds of sweet, tender, funny and wonderful and I wanted to watch it again before the credits even started to roll. I'll be pre-ordering my DVD copy as soon as the option is available. I highly recommend it but as it is with the critics, my opinion will only matter so much as my tastes match yours. If we have different tastes then my opinion will mean very little to you, the reader.
