This was so neat to be able to see my grandchildren and the parade of 47 from Brussels Belgium via the Internet! Is there a way to get a copy and show it to our friends here?

I miss the Days of 47, I was born and raised in Utah and now live in Connecticut, Every year as the 24th nears I get very homesick for the parade, the rodeos, and all the excitement of commenorating the pioneers entrance into the valley...Thanks for the short video, it makes me feel a little better!!

Thanks for posting this video! I remember marching in the parade when I was in my last year of Primary. The other gal in my class and I each held handfuls of ribbons that led back to the other children, each of whom was holding onto one of the ribbons and marching along behind us. That way, our ward's children remained together as we walked along the route. I always loved Pioneer Day, going to Liberty Park, having a picnic, and seeing the fireworks. I've lived all over the U.S. and in Germany, but every July 24th my heart yearns for Salt Lake City and the celebration of my heritage.
